Fact: Doris/Magee have been far too busy to update their own website. Doing what? Good question.

Here's the short version:

We just curated the short film programme at the 2014 Cat Laughs Festival in Kilkenny, collaborating with the mighty Shane Langan from Diet Of Worms, the star of BBC's The Walshes. We took the opportunity to debut a new Doris short starring Cork comedy gods Lords Of Strut. We'll have that one for you soon.

Our newest film is FEIS CEOIL: BY NUMBERS, a 1 X 25 observational documentary on the 2014 Feis Ceoil, broadcast in May on RTE 1 in a Sunday teatime slot. Lots of people watched, and said nice things, and it might be our favourite thing we've ever done. We also made some shorts for the Feis Ceoil - watch them HERE.

The Doris/Magee film PONYDANCE: THE MOVIE won a Golden Torc at the 2014 Celtic Media Festival in the Young People's category. We weren't there, hilariously enough, because we were too busy making a film. But were delighted all the same.

Before that, we shot the interviews for the 2014 Meteor Awards. Watch us play a word association game with the nominees HERE.

Ian has been shooting stuff here, there and everywhere, and Derek's writing the Christmas show for the Lyric Theatre in Belfast. In other words, it's all go, as ever.

We've been making films for five years now, and have completed nealy fifty shorts, made 3 X 25 minute ob-docs, produced the Best Short winner at the Galway Film Fleadh, screened in Dublin, Cork, Donegal, Galway, Kerry, Edinburgh and New York, and had a TON of fun.

We hope you've enjoyed watching them.
